thanks cannibal, interesting hammock, its like it has a high and low side. I do move around a bit so I'm not sure if it would be big enough for me, but its cool to see yet another different style. How many hammock should a person have? ( I know thats a different thread altogether!)

greggg3- I'm a 6', 200+ pounder so some of that space limitation may just be me. I guess I should have said that someone prone to claustrophobia might find this hammock tight. There is plenty of shoulder room and I was able to go fetal one chilly night without problem. It is just a very efficient use of space and material.

Jazilla- If memory serves it came in around 20oz as delivered. I haven't put it on the scale in quite a while. Of course I put webbing and rings on and ditched the huggers, so I'm sure that added a little. I'll try to remember to do that while I'm looking for pics at home tonight.

Didn't have time to look for pics last night; Cannibal actually had a date. I sooo still have it.

I did throw it on the scale this morning on the way out; came in at 30.2 oz for all of the following:

    Warbonnet ElDorado
Strapworks 1" webbing (12' on each end)
    Rings (also from Strapworks)
    Blackbishop Bag

I've got some lighter camo webbing from OWF, but I haven't switched them out yet. Should drop me a little. Then there are the super light ti rings that I heard someone got me for Xmas.

When I got the Warbonnet, I held it in one hand and my Exlporer in the other and just smiled .

The Warbonnet torso UQ will add another 16oz. to the set-up and I've got a line on a tarp that will be less than 10oz with plenty of coverage. Sleeping/sit pad will add a couple more ounces and a top quilt somewhere in the mid to high 20oz range. So the way I figure, my whole set-up for winter/early spring will be right around, or a little under, 5lbs. Not too shabby.

I think Santa is bringing Cannibal a Cuben tarp.
Or maybe one of the new MLD tarps, I see a nice one using spintex .97,
    10.7' x 8', 9 oz.

wish I'd been good this year
