Not sure whether your plans are still flexible, but I would love to join the Clarion River contingent if it's the 5/19-5/20 weekend that you go. As pointed out, the following weekend is Memorial Day weekend (I'm working unfortunately) and of note the earlier weekend is Mother's Day (5/13; wife would be unhappy; don't need unhappy wife). Have my own canoe but would need to shuttle or use outfitter to do that. I'll keep an eye on thread as you firm up plans.

I have a commitment that whole weekend.

unfortunately the holiday weekend is the only one I can get off, working all weekends for the next few months.

sure is, most of the river is class one or less difficulty, there are some small rapids and riffles. There is usually an easy route and a harf route through them. Heck, we used to do it with my preschool aged kids in the canoe with us. If you wear a life preserver / jacket you'll be fine. Make sure your gear is tied down.

This was after about a week of rain, river is high and fast, usually its a little tamer...
