    Maybe the lower sections down near Belltown when smallies come in - is that mid-June?

    unfortunately the holiday weekend is the only one I can get off, working all weekends for the next few months.

    sure is, most of the river is class one or less difficulty, there are some small rapids and riffles. There is usually an easy route and a harf route through them. Heck, we used to do it with my preschool aged kids in the canoe with us. If you wear a life preserver / jacket you'll be fine. Make sure your gear is tied down.

    This was after about a week of rain, river is high and fast, usually its a little tamer...
