    Painting or drawing on silnylon

Anybody have any suggestions as to how to paint or draw on silnylon so that the design can withstand being packed away and some rain here and there?

It would be hard to get anything to adhere well on silnylon. Hey.....Gorilla tape won't even stick to it.
I have painted on ripstop with fairly good results.

You could try a permanent marker as it may stick.

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of a tarp? A tarp with a thousand holes in it may not work to well depending on where the holes were placed

Two possible suggestions to get your design onto high-quality 1.1 oz silpoly...

    1) Design a high-resolution digital file and submit it to Ripstop by the Roll's OutdoorINK for digital printing on waterproof fabric.

    2) Pay a very reasonable fee for a talented freelance graphic artist to design a high-resolution digital file and submit it to Ripstop by the Roll's OutdoorINK for digital printing on waterproof fabric.

I was thinking the same thing. Would probably end up having to be a tarp I don't backpack with to not crease/wrinkle it too badly.

    Thanks!
