The snow caves were already there. Max added the back doors to all of them. He was tearin' into them with an entrenching tool. He had about 3 hours of fun doing that.

It was great meeting everyone! And, while next time I vote for a bit of a warmer climate, there was some good food and some good drink and some good times.

And now I am off to continue with my knitting. I need mittens for next time, that's for sure!

    Here's Sevens' album:

Didn't realize that albums didn't show up in the gallery search.

Coffee must now die for giving me that damnable Tinkerbell Pezz dispenser!

Well, that and the fact that I (of all people) spent Friday night cold. It was only zero, maybe I should be called Tinkerbell. I wasn't cold enough that I would get up and do something about it, but I was chilled all night. Embarrassing seeing how we had a whole flock of new people that slept warm and snug. And yeah, I let my buddy Sevens down by not helping him more with the quilt. Too many things going on and I'm too easily distracted. Sorry buddy!

It was great! Genuine Draft did show-up Saturday for a bit and did (thankfully) go grab me some better boots. I messed-up Friday and didn't insert my standard plastic grocery store bags into my hiking boots. My hiking boots are real ones, with holes, gashes, and dental floss stitches. Snow and waterproof they are not! Come Saturday, my little piggies were a bit cold. My girl hates to see me try to act tough, so she went and got me some cold weather boots. I keep telling ya'll I got me a good girl!

I've got some video of Amsteel in action pulling Just Jeff's Jeep out of the snow bank he tried to park in. There shall be no more questions about Amsteel's strength! I've actually got to get some work done here at the office, but will try to get the video up by the end of the day.

So very good to meet everyone that I hadn't yet met. I gotta tell ya, hanging out in a beautiful high mountain valley with a warm fire, warm drink, good friends, wonderful lies, and a full belly can only be beat by one thing (and we had it); having the movie Zombieland playing on a hiker version of a drive-in theater. Way to go Mustardpeople!

Dang ... now that's a keeper! Feeling a little misty eyed myself reading that!

No worries. It stands to reason that the guy with almost 7K posts would be pulled in a million directions by the crazy amount of noobs at the hang

Despite the initial freezing of my butt I had a great time.
