I forgot my camera in Cannibal's truck. I'll get the pics and video posted once I get it. You know, just to provide an additional angle.

Good pics, ff. I was thinking that we should have gotten a picture of everyone next to their setups but I don't think anyone did. I think we have pics of everyone somewhere...when I get mine done I'll see if I can find at least one of each person. I know I got a pic of everyone's setup, but that's only part of what made it fun!

I think Kaliram had the closest to that and it is a great idea!

Ah, I missed taking those pix. Good idea in retrospect though!

The pictures are great, and it looks like you guys had a good time, but it's hard to tell who is who.

So far, all I've seen of me was a picture of my glowing water bottle, and MrsMustardman's feet, in one of the campfire pics. I'm fine with that - I like to maintain my air of mystery

Yeah! Alright now, that was an impressive high center job! I've only managed to do as well a few times, but mostly in MS mud!

I once slid off just like you did, into a ditch, but it was more ice than snow. My bud in a old Jeep CJ7 or 8 pulled me out. The heavy snow was just getting started on the opening day of Elk season on the Mogollon Rim, AZ. My friend pulled out more stuck 4wds with that Jeep CJ8 than I could keep count of. It was the most incredible off roading feat I have seen to this day. With a truck stuck in one ditch, he( or his wife!) would just drive in the opposite ditch and kind of wedge himself in. Or up out of the ditch off the road and ease his bumper up to a tree, so his Jeep would not move on the ice. Then his winch cable would be dragged across to the stuck vehicle and he would winch them out. Then, he would just drive back up out of the ditch. Over and over.

I think it was just something about his tires. They were mudders, only 33s, but they were extra wide and had lots of flotation, and very worn with very little tread. I think this allowed him to stay high enough on the deep snow that he would not high center. Maybe he had front and rear lockers also, don't know. But in a weekend filled with stuck 4x4s, he never came close to getting stuck.

Do you have locking difs, front or rear or both? No tow hooks? I admit I cringed when I saw the rope around your bumper. I was glad to see that, once you were out your bumper was still on!

    Looks like a good time!
