Chickens would be good, too. Just want to make sure we have some kind of side items instead only 17 different kinds of meat.

    For sure:
Just Jeff - cider to heat over the fire
    Joker - cider
    food - tamales
    Sevens - stew and cigars
    LittleSevens - stew
    Kaliram
    Genuine Draft - Cannibal
    Cannibal - chili
    Warbonnetguy
    freefall - firewood
    Mustardman
    MrsMustardman
KnittingMelissa - hot dogs and buns
    bushcrafter84

    Maybe:
    aceracer and Phil
    Dana and Wendy from AARN

Ok - you've talked me into it. Doubtful Windy will go. BUT - Windy is an incredible baker, so I could probably get her to make some cinnamon rolls or some kind of dessert, then she's there in spirit!

Cannibal/warbonnetguy - I know you offered some gear yesterday, and yes I've never hung/hanged before, so if anyone has some gear for me to try out, I would be very thankful. I could just bring my tent and bag too which is no biggie, except you hangers will then laugh at me.........

Thanks guys. Good to hear. And good to meet you all yesterday. I hope we can get one of the packs to fit Genuine Draft.

So it sounds like more of a have a campfire, bring your comfortable gear, have a few beers, dance naked around the fire, kind of campout. With a some hiking, snowshoeing during the day? Not so much a 2 day hike, correct?

Full moon, the hiking, snowshoeing, skiing can be at night.

Will anyone have dogs at the hang? We aren't sure yet what we are going to do with ours - if we make it an overnighter and don't stay too late on day 2, they can stay at home, but we might want to bring them. We could bring a secondary 2-man tent and ground insulation to keep them warm, or try to fit three medium sized dogs in our two hammocks with us... all that assuming dogs are welcome.

Any thoughts on how much snow to expect on the ground? If its measured in feet instead of inches, our short-legged corgis might not have such a fun time

We've had a bit of snow out here the past week and another mild storm coming late in the week. Based on that, your corgi might need a periscope to see where it's going.

Can't speak for anybody else, but Genuine Draft and I love dogs and would welcome furry critters. Our Olde Bulldogge hates camping regardless of the season, so Grandpa is watching her that weekend.
