I’m so happy to finally have the days off to go ! I haven’t filled out the food part of the spreadsheet yet, need to think about that. Is there a fridge in daShack? Or is parking close enough that you can access a cooler?

No fridge or running water. We all bring coolers. There is a gas stove/oven and a pit toilet. And plenty of trees to hang from and wood to burn.

Lots of parking close to da shack. Will have plenty of well water in 5 gallon pails.
Room for coolers on north porch.
Da shack has wood stove, propane stove and oven, extra beds.

Thought the new project was a lean to of the other side of the shack that we can set chairs up under? But I am down to making a new out house too! I mean we got the carpenter(s)?
Or are you leaving nick at home?


I am hoping to get the old man to come out for a day at least, maybe even a night if I can convince him.... lol

Just trying to limit what I bring so we don't have crap loads of extra food!

She will have stuff to eat. Bring less food is a fine idea. Northland Bar is only 3 miles away. Hamburgers and pizza's. Friday Fish Fry. Iola is 7 miles away. Crystal's Cafe has the best pies commercially available.
There is a good propane stove and oven in da shack. Bring one pasta type meal, one desert, bunch of cookies.Bring a gallon of Juice.
