New products and IX testing

I don't think Sarbar will be pissed, While I like blue flames and pink camo as much as the next guy I have some other fabrics and a different kind of insulation. Her design is good, I did not want to copy hers but put in use some materials that are different and new and put to use the IX in a new application.

Do you think you could improve the performance of the Dinner Bivy by adding a reflective layer cut from a space blanket?

Would add very little bulk or weight.

Gotta tell, the performance seems pretty good... I would like to see it over an hour like you did with the super...

But I want one, and need to go by one (or two or three)

What sort of testing are you looking for? Happy to.

Just compartive testing on heat retention for the long term... Similar to what you did for the Super... When out with my son, I have wasted a few meals because of having to get up just after cooking to take care of something he needs. Right now I am considering buying the Super, but I just want to see all the data.

Can do, I think that the general drop in temps will continue along the same rate. But I could see if it varies any from the curve at 30 and 40 minutes.

I ordered the super, so as much as I would like to see the results they will no longer impact my purchase.
