Smile While not a hammock campout should still be fun

Well guys and gals, how we all doing,

This weekend should be an interesting one, we recently figured to challenge the boys in my troop to do newer and better things and to top last years awesome year. Well this being our first event of the 2010 year should be a fun and exciting way to kick off Troop 187's 40th year. We will be doing a bit of snow camping in one of the back hallows of one of my assistants farm. Im hoping all goes well we have been teaching the guys bout winter camping and how not to freeze to death so I guess we shall all see how well the listened. When I get back Sunday and I warm up and rest up I shall post how well it all went Thanks for reading on a quick side note Im hoping to atleast have part of my hammock rig when i get my tax return and fix a few things on my trusty pick up.

    take care all

    Hey again,

Well the weekend was a fun one, Friday we all met at our meeting place and loaded up a couple pick ups and headed out to the farm we camp at. All the guys had fun. Saturday afternoon we had a big snowball fight, I'm not sure who the winners or losers were as we all got a fair bit of the hits. Food was ok well had its ups and downs but thats usual. It was fun, the nights were a little cold mainly cause my sleeping bag had its better days. Was glad to come home and get a warm shower and relax in my warm home. In all it was a good weekend alot of the kids got a ton of advancements done adn thats always the good part.

Hello PA Pathfinder, I have a warm place in my heart for anyone who works with the Scouts. Hope you get over the yucks soon.

I spent most of my money on beer and women and hammocks.
    The rest I just wasted.
