Heading out to Sector 9

Me and my boys (one girl too) are all packed up and heading to the Adirondacks to do some winter camping. We'll be backpacking in to the base of Algonquin Peak, setting up camp and then hiking to the peak the next day. I'll be testing out my new Clark NX 250....really looking forward to the whole weathershield thing especially since some snow is predicted for every day. We're not sure what we'll be doing the other days...perhaps Gothics Peak. It'll be my first time with crampons....lots of ice up there. I'm very excited!

This trip is not getting off to a good start....buddy had an accident on the way over. He's OK...car not so good. Waiting to see if he can still go. Hey...it wouldn't be camping if we didn't arrive after dark.
