    DIY: Poncho liner TQ

    So I have debated about posting this video on here because my sewing skills are lacking. Maybe it can help someone out or they can build off of it. I plan on doing am UQ next.

    Very well done. I have. A Vietnamese era Poncho Liner that has traveled many miles with me, it is amazing how warm it is.

    I agree, it's perfect for those nights where your to hot for a regular quilt but to cold for nothing at all.

    I sort of cobbled together a no sew version of this some months back. All I did was melt two small holes in the fabric at one end, run some paracord through it and made a drawstring closure on one end. I use the existing ties to tie it loosely together, but Kam snaps would work better. The only advantage my method has is that I can still unroll the poncho liner to its full length and width as a blanket if I need to. Your video was nicely done, by the way, and I'm betting that yours is somewhat lighter than mine since you cut some of the material away.
