I never had much of a problem with the HH and sleeping bag ... I just sat in the split, then put my feet in the bag... stood on the foot end (on the ground on a pad) hoisted it up ... sat back down in the split and wiggled back in place. I bet it looked funny as view from the outside!

But ... not an issue at all now with the 2Q mod ...

    Thumbs up It's Here!

Well, my new Hennsey arrived today with the larger Hex tarp and Snake Skins I was so ready, I went outside my shop and set it up! Great! "I is a hanger!" I am looking forward to using this setup since I stopped camping cause the ground was getting harder as I grew older. problem solved! I will learn as I go, but, as an old cowboy who spent waaaay to much time on the ground trying to rest, I wish I had known about this years ago. I wouldn't care what others said as long as I got some rest. Thanks to all who contribute to this forum for helping us newbies get going! What a great community! Thanks, all.

Thats how I hung in my original hennesey with a sleeping bag for a long time and the main reason I did not do more than I wanted to... then I found this site, got a BB, will do the zipper mod to the hennesey for my wife. Now I can look like I have dignity when I enter/exit the hammock!
