Ignore Function Questions

I searched around a bit and couldn't locate specifics, but I was wondering about the functionality of the ignore list...I've finally gotten annoyed enough after many years to use it.

Will the ignored poster's threads still show up?

The vast majority of the time I browse the site using the "New Posts" link. I experimented a bit in looking for this individual's threads and they still show up, but I'm not sure if it is due to other people responding in them, or if they were created before I ignored this poster.

or will anything posted by this individual still show up while browsing, but their actual post within a thread just shows blocked unless I choose to open it?

Any other specifics that anyone can share or direct me to posts that detail this. I couldn't find much on this searching through google or the site directly.

Anyone on the ignore list will have their post somewhat hidden. It will say something like "JoeBlow's comment was hidden since this user is on your ignore list" and you have the option to "click to view". So, you'll likely be tempted to see what they wrote and click it anyway

I wouldn't want to miss many of your posts. Solid recommendations, though you sometimes get me one clicking as well when you link products.

I do appreciate the response and that was all I had noticed at this point as well. I must resist temptation in order to avoid annoyance
