His 1st solo night in his "Cub" Hammock

Tristan's first solo night in his hammock (The Cub)
He has spent the night with me several times in the Hennessy, and once in the Bliss Double, but this was his first night by him self in his own hammock.
I have been apprehensive to let him sleep alone on those really cold nights,
Yesterday, I found a kids, zero degree, 50 inch mummy bag, and had to have it. Sure he will out grow it real fast, but in the mean time,,,, for the small investment,,,, the return will be worth it.......,,

There was no dew last night and much warmer than it has been, so we gave it a hang.

His "Pillow Head" sais it all.

Wow, Randy! That is really great that he got to do that and had a good experience! I'm sure that will really build his hammocking confidence! It's great you're passing on the magic!

    You're both lucky fellas.

Randy, you almost make me wish for kids of my own. Almost.

    Good on ya!

That's one cute kid! He's obviously happy with the separate hammock. Won't be long before he's hangin' without ya, Dad! Good memories for both of you.
