Once again a great vid, I watched both and I have to say "THANK YOU", I have watched all of your videos more than a couple times each and I learn alot from them, great combination of information with humor. You keep makin-em and I will keep-a watchn-em. I do have one question tho, you have a keeper string attached to your toggle and I have been lookn on the forum for ways to keep the toggle in place when it is all hung up (so as to not loose it when either hangn or takin down) how do you attach the free end of the keeper string? I have been thinkn bout maken the move to whoopie slings!? Thanks Shug!

I just loop the string around the toggle ... pulling the toggle thru the string ... and hook it around my dutch clip. Or, I leave the toggle in the knot and may just loop the string around the toggle for back-up.

Thanks for the Noob videos. I'm heading to the Colorado Hang this weekend for my first hammock experience. It's good to learn a little before I show up.

So how does it feel being the __________ (insert favorite famous person here) of hammocking?

Your videos originally got me hanging and I'm sure these will get many more people to pop that can of hammock worms wide open.

Well .... just something to do to avoid work and help the noobs to gain some confidence ...... got more to do .... lots of stuff to cover. May scare some folks away from hammocks. Part of the evil plan..........

LMAO! Great video. Being a noob, I appreciate the little things, like "amsteel on the knot and not the spike."

I like the Duke of Hammocking much better than CQ... you probably do an excellent John Wayne, Shug.

How about the Godfather of Hammocking? Can you do Brando/Vito?
