Hey everyone! I just ordered the Warbonnet Yeti for my HH. I hope I made the right decision. I am also thinking of having a zipper mod by 2QZQ, if I dont do that, I might just buy a blackbird.
Has anyone used the Yeti with a Hennessy? I know that without the zipper mod it might be hard to adjust. Any comments?

I think you are correct about difficulty adjusting it without the zipper mod. That is going to be tough. I'm thinking your best bet is to start with it too high, then after you are in and positioned normally, sit up enough to reach out the bottom and pull the Yeti down past your butt a few inches. But you are going to want that mod.
Begging to differ. I've got a hammock in the bedroom....an HH backpacker asym...yeti does work on the HH...just know you can only easily adjust in ONE direction. Sit up, reach through the slit and pull the yeti---obviously you cant push it back toward the head end. So when setting up just over adjust toward the head end then dial it in if you have to in little pulls toward the foot. Not idea I know but you do have uni-directional adjustment. If I'm setting up some one new to the art and using the HH, I'm going to put a Snugfit under them or a MW; you know with newbies you need success the first time!

The yeti is a great piece of gear but i would encourage you to get the zipper mod , not just for ease of yeti adjustment but for the other opportunities/features the mod offers you.

someone posted about gear for 2009, and I posted who brought us the 2/3's UQ...I'd have to say that the 2/3's UQ is a milestone in hammocking. Think about it, a 10-12 ounce wonder! I'd recommend going with the Blackbird....what will the zip mod costs (no offense to TQ/ZQ-they fed me well at Mt.Rogers!!!!), take that off the price of a Blackbird...or look at it this way, to get a hammock from HH that weighs what a Blackbird could way (emphasis on could), you can get a Blackbird for 70 dollars cheaper USA....and get a shelf...much debate wispered around campfires over the actual benefit of the footbox--you decide.

Now is anyone interested in a only slightly used hennesy? Ive got two..Maybe I should post in the for sale section.
I figured out hanging last year on my hike. But I just used my WBBB and a pad with my sleeping bag. Now I'm getting ready to go out in the cold, so I have a Yeti and a JRBweathershield. I can't figure out how to use either of them! The yeti has 6 snaps but there's no place to snap it... The Weathershield has shock cord elastics but I can't figure out where they go. How do I put them together to stay nice and warm?
