Wind River range, Cirque of the Towers

Iíve asked about this hike for a few years. Well itís happening. Plane tickets booked and car rental confirmed for early July. Maybe some snow still but Iíll deal with whatever.

Making a loop from Big Sandy trailhead to the Cirque around Graves Lake I think. Maybe 45 miles.

Just need to finish some caltopo mapping and download and print a few maps.

Any suggestions of anything else I need to see. Iím so excited I have a countdown like my kids for Christmas on a calendar at work.

Hanging opportunities not all that abundant, but probably doable:

From my climbing days in 03, as in way back in ought 3 Pingora and Wolfshead. My friends climbed Warbonnet on the day I got off work and was hiking in so I missed that. Humping climbing gear, oh joy.
