Thanks for the heads up Alt.Thomas
Do people want to hike and hang or just find a place to hang and lounge for a day or two? I know of a few places in the Okutama / Chichibu area if there is interest in that area. Let me take a look at the dates and see if I can commit.

I’m up for hiking, or just finding a spot and hanging out. Depends on how the group feels.

I think it’s more of a social hang with optional hiking. Looking for these criteria to satisfy everyone: lots of trees, hammock friendly, campfire ok, easy to reach by train and has good parking spaces.

This one is up in Yamanashi near Yanagawa station.

I stole the last photo from Tiger when we went there last year.

Just called the caretaker and confirmed they have plenty of space available. Here is the details of the location that was sent last year.

    Is this place ok?

Hi GingaNinga, I can only commit to one night but perhaps others would like to extend their stay. If so, I know of an excellent spot for stealth camping about 4 hrs hike from the campgrounds.

I was planning to check in around 10am and socialize from there onwards.
For the next day, I was thinking of scouting another course nearby 矢平山:

I'm also happy to guide folks up Mt. Kurotake. Either way, there is a nice rock garden on the way. I just hope the hornets won't be a bother.

I will be arriving later, probably around 17:00 as I have to work in the morning.
