    Maybe next trip will be more Hanging Friendly... lots of good places by the creek on the North side of Dugger just before the 500 crossing and the next night at Oakey Mtn if thats what everyone wants to do

    I think the "Netty Pot" discussion was most informative.

    1st picture is Brian, Hangnout and Hedcase before the hike Friday. I saw this Pinhoti trail marker on the a tree. I think I only saw a few of them.

    The metal turkey track is an old marker and is no longer used. The Pihoti is now blue blazed.

    Sounds good to me Skippy. My bad planning this trip. I do it solo every February and just didn't pay enough attention to the restricted hanging on the Chinnabee.

    My bad planning this trip. I do it solo every February and just didn't pay enough attention to the restricted hanging on the Chinnabee.
    How could you know that so many of us would have cabin fever and join in.

    I came in at the last minute and brought someone with me. We more than doubled the size of group on Saturday at Adam's Gap. I thought it was pretty cool that such a varied group that had not hiked together had no major issues. Everyone was prepared, friendly, and helpful.

    I want to second what Hangnout said...........southmark, don't apoligize for anything. Everyone had a great time and we all new what we were getting into when we stepped off onto the trail. Anytime you want to put another hike together just let us know, I will be there.
