Just to Hide all, and learn some experience from yours ~~~

headache for just bought a Bayer Moskito Traveller from REI, but it notes it don;t include hanging systems..What it means ><"

"hanging system sold separately. A flexible connection such as a carabiner clip, S-hook or shackle should be used between the hammock eye and the attachment point to avoid chafing." from REI

it means that the suspension system is not included. The suspension system is the part between the hammock and the trees. Usually this is some sort of rope or webbing straps.

It is suggesting that you use some sort of metal to attach any suspension system to the hammock instead of using ropes directly on the hammock so that the hammock material won't wear out prematurely.

    I hope this helps.

I guess you could find some trees in Kowloon or in Guongdong Province on the other side of Zhuhai, but I thought they were hard to come by in HongKong!!

you might want to look in the gallery here, or do a search on "suspension"; and see some of the ways people have come up with to keep the hammock up without any damage to the trees (or posts) they attach themselves to.
    Hope this Helps, KM
