    Get Dizzy

Last year I was trying out some new camera techniques on a six day hike with some friends in Glacier Natl Park. This link will take you to a beautiful panorama of Cosley Lake on the north eastern part of the park. The two guys are my hiking buddies, I'm hiding behind the camera.

The photo is too big to fit on the screen so click and drag with your mouse to see more of the photo. Not too fast or you'll get dizzy.

    Panorama here

Tell me what you think, was it worth the download times?

I wish all of my pictures could be like this.
So, tell us how you did it.

I'll be sharing this on Facebook, if you don't mind.

Really cool and not that long..5 seconds.
Neat part is I've stood in that same spot in '80. Glacier is one of my top 5 destinations.
    Thanks for sparking the memories.

Definitely worth it. I felt like I was playing the Myst series and couldn't go forward.

I had a monopod, with a Nodal Ninja 3 mounted on top. I used a sigma 8mm lens on a Nikon D200 for the camera. I took photos in 6 directions to make a cube, then used hugin software to connect the 6 images.
