There are serveral people on this forum who use the Claytor hammock , myself included. Check out my gallery for some pics of a different set up. It is a great pice of equipment and the stock tarp will keep you dry if pitched right. Also check out Neo"s posts and gallery as he is an avid Claytor user as well. Welcome !!

    Welcome.

The best idea is to do a lot of testing in the backyard. That way if something happens, you can bail to the house and your warm bed.

It's cool seeing all the international people joining. one of these days I'll have to make it to your side of the pond.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?

i have allready been to the climbing shop looking at different ropes. u recomend the spear stuff? is this the same type in climbing shops?
    Welcome BTW....
No, the "speer stuff" is not climbing rope (or even rated for climbing). It is 1" wide polypro webbing. Checked out the site..

The setup looks nice. Just be sure to pull the tarp as tight as possible without causing damage. I have thought of getting a mosquito hammock. What version is it? Does it have the double layered bottom?

    Welcom Daniel!

Your setup looks good for stealth camping. You have to tighten the hammock or lower the tarp a little bit to prevent windblown rain from entering though.
