Ok. Well, just PM me as soon as you get the schedule ironed out! (I'd sure hate to hijack a MODERATOR's thread...)

Mr. Moderator can always move threads and posts if he needs to. I don't think it's a big deal though, he's invited too. I'll give you a yell as soon as I know when we're going for sure. As it stands right now, I'm eyeballing June 30-August 2, so I can make it into Charlotte by my birthday on August 4.

Great pics/movies you got there Tim. Did the ponies stay near your camp site all night or were they just passing through? I really want to get back to Mt. Rogers in the near future. It's a beautiful place.

    Sounds good Hooch.

Tim, did the ponies leave you any "presents" around your camp or try to eat your food? Did you run out to try to pet the deer?

first pic is blue cohosh, second pic is probably false hellebore (yellow lady slipper is a remote possibility also), the trillium seed pod is correct, the bush with the red berries is probably elderberry but it may be mountain ash (usually mtn. ash has more leaflets per leaf than what is shown in the pic)

the first night i had a friend w/ me... second night just me & the Creator.
    soooooo peaceful.
maybe some of you (ewker) could id some of the plants.
i wore the hammockforums shirt & talked to quite a few people about hammocks. more than not seemed genuinely interested.
night time lows were 59 & 58°f. nice sleeping weather.
    ...tim
I enjoyed the mountain views. The closest thing we have to mountains 'round here (non-Chicago Illinois) are highway overpasses.

Did those ponies come and check you out when you in the hammock? What a way to wake up!

Oh, by the way, we'll probably stay at Davidson River Campground, since I'll have my son with me. It's fairly close to Looking Glass Falls and Sliding Rock, from what I've read.
