Ok guys, I just got off the phone with Roger Small with Noah Lamport, Inc. (1-800-548-6940). He was very friendly and super nice. He had no problem boxing it up for me (off the roll) and he's putting it into a flat rate medium box for $14.95 plus a $5 cutting fee, just as Josh described above.

This was a very pleasant experience for me so maybe others just caught them on a bad day or spoke with someone else. Great deal on fabric and super nice customer service.

Placed my order today and he said it would go out today or tomorrow (I think we just missed the mail for today).

When i ordered mine i called them twice. One good experience and another the guy seemed kinda annoyed is all.

When I tried to order, I got a rude guy, and ended up luckily just cancelling my order before giving all of my credit card information over and I hung up on him. I'd rather spend the very little extra (once you figure questionable shipping and cutting fee) with one of our cottage suppliers who are friendlier and easier to work with. JMHO

Who are some of the suppliers you prefer? $3/yd for 1.1 silnylon is by far the best I've seen. Even with the $20 shipping and handling I believe I'm still saving about $30 on my 20 yard order.

You are saving. You got someone nice on the other end of the phone too, makes a huge difference. The rude person I got just put things in perspective for me immediately and left a bad taste. Had customer service been nice....my order would have been placed. After all that is why I called.

So I got my order today! I paid $46.31 for 10 yards of this stuff and I cant personally see anything wrong with it to make it 2nds

Keep in mind im in oregon so there was no tax, also my creditcard info was not on the box. So shipping was $11.31 and they shipped UPS. I think this could be easily packed in a different method and shipped usps and cost less for shipping but I cant complain or make the decision on how they want to ship

Im happy with what I recieved and it only took roughly 3 days to get here So not bad!

Now I need to get a tarp made and maybe some stuff sacks!

Well, I'm making my third purchase. To comment on the service, one of the guys is a real jerk, but the other is fine. I order only from these guys because of the selection, price point, and this is the widest material I've been able to find (except another ebay source that is hit and miss). The material is fantastic and the color choice is quite varied compared to what you often find. For kids and spouses who may want more choice in the lighter weight material this is the best I've found. I'm glad you were able to get black - it's not that often they have it.
