I just received my new indonesian golok and the canadian custom hit me like a train asking for way more money (UPS)
I think we have an agreement with the USA-made product (and my golok wasn't created in the USA) that it dosnt cose more in customs to get stuff over our border. My point is, i think the Blackbird is US-Made.. i think..
Question: If you live in Canada and ordered a Blackbird, did you had to pay extra because of the Canadian customs ?
No duty was charged. I wasn't even charged PST & GST but I think that was a fluke of luck.

UPS are just con artists never use them for USA brought goods as they always use a broker which automatically means you get a charge and the goods get assessed for duty. I recently brought a $20 part for a hot tub and it cost me $50 the guy would not deliver unless I paid so you are held to ransom.

Whenever i get stuff from the US which is often it all goes USPS. I never use UPS. Brandon will send your blackbird USPS if you mention it . I didn't pay duty

USPS. UPS are bandits. They charge exorbitant brokerage fees even when no duty or taxes are required.
I have to agree with all of you, UPS always come when i am at work, and I have to wait a 3rd try (or call after the first) to make it hold at the ups warehouse 50km from my house.
USPS deliver it (by canada post) at the post office in front of my house.
And the last UPS charged me 41$ buck extra on a 115$ package.. I hate UPS!
