    Titanium Dutch Clips and Ridgerunner

On Dutches Website it states that his titanium Dutch clips are made for use with any Hammock using a 30 degree angle or sag in the suspension. I would like to use them with my Ridgerunner, which utilizes more of a 25 degree angle. Is anyone using them with a Ridgerunner? What has your experience been?

I have used them on my Grizz Bridge Ariel at 20-25° with no problem. You can also use some Soft Shackles ala Myers. They work great too and are easy to make.

I've been using them on my Ridgerunner for a few years and never had an issue. Just use them according to the directions and you should be good to go.

I am sorry Paul, I realize that I post this in the wrong spot after I posted it. I could not figure out how to delete it, so I left it hoping the mods would either delete it or move it. On a positive note, I did get the feedback I was looking for, along with some very informative video tutorials! There are so many helpful people on this forum! I do hope to get more familiar with posting and being able to fix my mistakes, without hoping for the mods to do it for me.

Rais’n Hammock, I like the idea of the soft shackle as well. I will have to look up a how to video and make a pair for a test hang. Thank you!

I've used 'em with my RR as well. They work fine.

I'm around 260 lbs and I've been using Ti Dutch clips for over three years on my RR with no problems at all. Just make sure you use them in the correct orientation since they have been know to bend when not used correctly.
