Last weekends hike 'n' hang (lots of pics)

    Hi All
A friend and I hiked out to one of the shelters along the Bibbulmun track last weekend. The temps were a little high at about 88 F so we needed plenty of water.
This section took us up and over two mountains on the way to the shelter and we returned the same way. While in camp we meet a guy who was doing and end to end and had been out for about 41 days and was a few days from finishing. We had a nice long chat to him which made him happy as he had not met many along the trail. As it is summer here now there would not be many walking it end to end.

Here are a few photos for you.
    Cheers

On the way there, Mount Vincent.

My bed for the night, I had not put the yeti on at this stage.

    My tarp tie out.

    On the way back.

Hi, I think they must just be dead, it has been very dry here for months.

Hi, that's the rain water tank, every shelter has one or two. The toilet is over to the left of that pic.

There are more photos HERE if you like, they were taken by Mark

I'd hate to have one of those decide to crawl up into the hammock at night.
