If they start making a hammock rated Titanium RCA XL (sub 7g), then let me know.
(until then I will have to stick with my stainless steel KOLAs.... soz)
Well there is this one at 4.2 g. It's not officially listed for use as a hammock suspension at the moment, but that could change soon.
The s/s KOLAs held up to over 1000kg (2200lb).
I'd be happy if the Ti ones had a break strength of 500kg (1100lb), that's as good as most Dutchware bling.

a bit hokey, I know, but good enough for me.
I'd say you should sweet-talk Kyle into sending you one, test it to 500kg. If it holds, that's as far as you would need to go. No point destroying a perfectly good piece of hardware just to see at what point it fails! Who knows, maybe the "fee" for testing could be a pair of them(?)
