Hi from Massachusetts

I'm new to hammocks but been tent camping for 40+ years. I started off with an impulse buy of a Walmart hammock with bugnet for $30 and spent the most comfortable nights outside in it I've ever had. Now I'm eagerly awaiting delivery of a new Dutchware Chameleon Wide. My primitive camping is done from my kayak. I love paddling out to the Boston Harbor Islands and hanging there. I plan to take a trip on the Connecticut River Paddlers Trail this summer, too.

I'm here to learn and eventually pass it on to others like me.

I just added my information to the signup sheet. I hope to meet you on Saturday for some tips on my new system, Dutchware Chameleon Wide with symmetrical bug net, Beetle Buckle straps, a OneTergis UQ and a couple of tarps. I'm not sure how much better it could be, I fell asleep in it instantly in the back yard yesterday afternoon.

Glad you can join us. Bring yer appetite. It's a gr8 bunch of people and you'll learn loads to get you off to a good start... just stay away from the guys called Chaaaz, Gil and Ted. They are well known fleeing felons and bad influences.
