    ENO dry fly

    HI
Has anyone used the ENO dry fly tarp?

It looks pretty good and the price is not bad.
    Thanks

I've used the ENO DryFly for about a year now and have had good results with it. I've used it in cold, rain, fair weather and had no problems with it. It's always kept me dry, but I've never used in a heavy wind swept rain. I own 2 of them, one for me, one for my son and we like them pretty well. If I had it to do over again and had to buy an ENO tarp, I'd probably go with the FastFly. The fast fly wasn't out last summer when I bought the 2 DryFly tarps I have now. As soon as I can get my sewing skills down, I'm going to make a couple of Black Cat tarps and lose the DryFlys. If you're not in a hurry, I'll unload them both to you super cheap if you're interested. One is olive, the other blue. Anyway, my overall opinion is that it's a pretty good budget-conscious starter tarp, but if you get one, like it and it works for you, then stick with it. BTW, Happy Hammock Day to all!

I'm hoping I can get one of the BlackCats done by the end of September or so. Like I said, it just depends on how my sewing skills come along. I'm going to give my first try at a DIY hammock in the next couple weeks, I hope. I got some 1.9 ripstop in MARPAT digital camouflage, so as soon as I get that in and can get the problems with my machine squared away, I'll give it a go. I'll let you know as soon as I've got a tarp done. 1.
