Looking for a UL backpack for a thru-hike of the Long Trail this year.

    Gossamer Gear Gorilla type.

    I have a 20inch torso and a 32 inch waist.

    What's in your closet??

UL Molly Mac Pack weighs 16 oz. If you use UL stuff sacks, it will still be lighter than a Gorilla.

I like my Gossamer Gear packs. Lightweight and priced right. I use a G5 in the summer and a Mariposa in the winter. They are made of very light materials (1.1 sil) so you have to be a little gentle with them. If you are harder on your packs then try the Gorilla.

What sort of base weight are you looking at and how long between re-supplies?
