    My $0.02

Yet another satisfied customer of 2QZQ's zipper mods!

Recently sent them my HH Exped, and I can't believe how professional everything looks! I got the mod #2, which is excellent. Very fast turnaround too... sent it in a couple weeks ago, and it's already here, 4 days before my "requested return by date".

All in all I am very happy, and it is well worth the money for any HH owners. They even repaired a rip in my bugnet for FREE. that's service.

Planing mine soon what side did you have the full zipper installed. Also whats it like to get in and out of with the tie outs staked out.

I got the right side full zipper.
and as far as getting in/out with the tie-outs, its no big deal. i mean since the tie-outs are elastic, it's no pain in the butt or anything.

Now I'm leaning to the left side for my full zipper mod don't know why just seems like the lower side of the hammock when you lay in it. I know 2q has statistics but it would be interesting to get some feedback on how others find it and if anyone wishes they had made the other choice?.

I don't really think you could lose either way.

honestly the only reason i opted for the right side, was because i wake up and get out of bed every morning on the right side. just made sense to me.

I have the Left side full zipper too (on both hammocks I have sent them).
It makes more sense to me because when zipped up, the top right-hand side (where the 'shelf' is), is out of the way and clumsy to get at. The PERFECT spot for the rolled-up bug-net to go.

If you have the right-side as the full zip, then either your head will be pressed against the bug-net when it's rolled up, or you will have to sit on and possibly damage the bugnet when you sit down.

Left-side full zip is the way to go IMHO.
    I ride a recumbent.
I like to HAM it up on the CW.
    I use Linux.
    I play go.
Of course I sleep in a hammock!

With a Mod 2, either right or left full zipper, the unzipped, rolled up bugnet is stored at the lower sections of the hammock...... your head should never touch it.

I'm not sure if I ever mentioned this before but when I'm lazy or in a hurry to setup or too cold to tie the ribbon ties, I often just tuck the unzipped netting under the hammock between the vapor barrier and hammock. No problems noticed.

When on your back in the hammock, the section/area between your right shoulder and the netting almost forms a shelf or a folded flap that tapers as it gets closer to your knees.

I just received my HH back today with mod #2 (left). Wow !!!! what a sterling job ZQ done. Being from the U.K, I was a little concerned about postage costs but if you want a job done right and all that.......... ! I'm over the moon with it........
Bazza, I have my full zipper on the left,....one of the reasons being that my sleeping bag is zipped on the left.........anything to make life easier....lol

    Thanks guys !
