    Thanks for posting - it reminds me of when my daughter was about that age. She and her 1 year younger brother and I spent 3 days camping in the High Peaks region of the Adirondacks. In fact, we took annual camping trips at the end of each summer before school started. Now they are 14 and 15 and it's hard to find the time but we do still camp.
