VIDEO Part 2: Maddie's 9th Birthday Backpacking Trip

This is the second part (actually, the second day) of Maddie's RRG Birthday Backpacking Trip. Be sure to check out Part 1 if you haven't already.

Maddie was so fun to have along. She is really enthusiastic about exploring EVERYTHING, and gets excited about what might be coming up next along the trail. I hope these videos impart a little bit of that excitement. Enjoy!

That little lady is so cute ... you're life is going to be miserable as she grows older

Quite a little charmer ... enjoy her before she becomes a teenager! All kidding aside ... looks like a great trip ... one she's going to remember for years.

WARNING: Will discuss Rhurbarb Strawberry Pie and Livermush at random.

Maddie is totally a cool kid. No whining ..... none I saw and really seems to enjoy the piney woods and the company of her Dad. And Dad hers.
    Awesome lil' journey .......
Funny for me to see bare ground!

I'll say it again... Maddie is adorable ! (I think that's what I said on the post for part 1.)

Thanks for posting - it reminds me of when my daughter was about that age. She and her 1 year younger brother and I spent 3 days camping in the High Peaks region of the Adirondacks. In fact, we took annual camping trips at the end of each summer before school started. Now they are 14 and 15 and it's hard to find the time but we do still camp.
