Good morning!!!
I am not new but we have moved to Wisconsin! About 30 min from the Twin Cities. I am looking to find some fellow hangers / hikers in the area to show me this beautiful place. Very excited to see whats out here. My daughter is 4 and she is bugging me to find her a place to hang her hammock too. (shes not quite ready for the long hikes yet) I wouldn't mind a night or two out.

Hi Dave. Welcome from a little bit north of you. Tons of good hiking within an hour or two of you. Ice Age Trail and the NCT immediately come to mind for good, quick backpacking adventures. We do free shuttles on the North Country Trail in WI as long as someone is available (Chequemagon and St Croix Chapter) and of course free advice about the trail, campsites, trailheads etc. Lots of hikers in the cities that I'm sure will fill you in on the local options.

Welcome to WI where the beer is strong and the hammock hangers are above average.... There's plenty to do in your part of the state and I'm sure you'll find more people to point you in the right direction.
