I collect vintage camp stoves.
I roast coffee at home.
The reason for my dry bag is an old idea [mountaineering days] that my down sleeping bag could save my life, and thus was kept dry no matter what.

It seems like a lot of people are recommending a trash compactor bag for stuffing their down goods.
Any specific recommendations on brands for tough trash compactor bags that will last?
I’ve been using Hefty Trash compactor bags 18 gallons. Got 5 on Amazon for $5.99. Ha - just looked and that was in 2012. Might be different price now but guess they’ve lasted me awhile.
Hefty and GLAD last a long, long time.
More waterproof than most stuffsacks and makes a great inverted pack cover while in camp.
Oh and get unscented bags.
