Thanks! Your Hammock Under Quilts Re-Visited video: https://youtu.be/D9N3KkV5Zf4 nailed the problem I was trying to solve with additional attachment points. My feet were pushing up over the under quilt. I just dragged out my under quilt and took another look at the adjustments, and sure enough, shortening one corner and lengthening the opposite looks to be the solution. Now to go try it out!

I have a Chameleon and an Incubator. I just hook the S carabiners to the continuous loops, then attach the quilt hooks on the side of the hammock to the shock cord on the sides of the underquilt. I don't even find the quilt hooks all that effective (they often come loose), but it doesn't really matter to me since I was hammocking and underquilting long before quilt hooks were ever invented. The quilt hooks are useful (when they work), but not essential.

You might be overthinking things a wee bit. The whole "D-rings on UQ connected to D-rings on hammock" sounds a bit excessive, and not how things were meant to go together.
    Excuse, I dont understand you.
What kind of quilt hooks on the side of the hammock are you talking about?
According to the information on the site of Dutch, a Chameleon has no quilt hooks, it has tieouts only (D-ring). Maybe you meant not a Chameleon but a Sparrow or something else with UQ hooks?

Chameleons have eight quilt hooks, if I remember right. Two on each end and side.

Is this an added option or standard?
On the site, in the description of the hammock there is nothing about the UQ hooks... (
