I've used Dutche's Dynema rope to make soft shackle style key rings. Also left over zing it to make a dogbone to hang my shaving brush up with. Most recently used up some spare zing it to make a continuous loop that I use to attach my leash to my surfboard. Oh yea and I've used left over argon 90 and climashield to make an insulated water bottle holder before. As well as a useful food but bag for keeping meals hot ( sized to fit the Dutch food bowl bags of course ).

I thought about it some time ago, but decided having a loop around my neck that has an average breaking strength of 1600lbs might not be the best idea I ever had...

Thanks for posting what I was thinking.
On a barely marginally related note, I helped my son build a trebuchet for a science project. We used 7/64 Amsteel to suspend the weight from a hold drilled in a southern yellow pine 2x4. We had to redesign after the first test fire when 50lbs pulled the rope right through 4" of SYP. The rope was undamaged.
