Actually... We're going to set up a field kitchen and we can use some large bins to act as sinks. one for pre-rinse, one for hot wash, one for rinse, and one for sanitize
So if you can bring some large bins (or a kitchen sink) please let us know.

Will bring 40 lb propane tank, burner(s) and two large pots for heating water...and a canopy.

When can we show up on Thursday? Actually coming down from the north Atlanta burbs on Wednesday.

I have 2 wash bins and soap I am bringing to help with the field kitchen. We will need some drying towels though, I only have a few. I am assuming we will have hot water, and not need to boil it.

We will be heating our own water...sorry.

There is hot water in the showers!

Even though this extends my drive almost 10 fold, I'm getting very excited about the trees. Maybe I can catch some crayfish in the trickle to put in a pot.
Do we have a cart of sorts to help take equipment to the kitchen or can we drive there to drop of items.

1. Your drive was like 10 miles before...so don't even try that...
2. Good luck with the crayfish thing. I bet they'd be happy to go in the gumbo. That's about the best thing a crayfish has to hope for.
3. Someone may bring a wagon or something, but no, there's not one at this time. Another good idea though!

For anyone who already knows they want a site closer to the pavilion/raffle/food area and an electric hookup for the additional 25 per day fee please let me know. Some of the sites do have trees that are suitable for hanging.

For those wanting to get a hike in, Green Swamp isn't super close, but I imagine it would not be hard to drive or carpool the 20 miles to a trailhead. Kayaking is available on the Withlacoochee river nearby. I'll try to dig up some links.

With the upgraded facilities, breakfast each morning for everyone is doable and will happen. There will be coffee/cocoa/tea available pretty much 24/7.

FYI. I went backpacking on the Florida Trail in the Richloam area (north of Green Swamp) a couple of weeks ago and found that Devil's Creek (which is near the border between Richloam and Green Swamp) was flooded and impassable. We had to turn around and hike back to the South Camp instead.

There is also the Croom Wilderness Area that is in Brooksville, FL. The Florida Trail runs through it as well.
