Is there plenty of places to hang at the new place. Since I wont be able to come till Saturday just wanted to know Should a bring my tent as well.

If you don't mind hanging over in the primitive area, there are plenty of trees. More than enough. If you want to be closer to the food/action and have a stand would not be a bad idea to bring it. For those of you with a luggage rack on your cars, you could also hang one end on the car and the other from a tree in the main campground area.

You can only camp near your vehicle if you are in the main campground area. Sertoma Youth Ranch has hosted weekend events with crowds exceeding 1500 campers. They can accommodate our group of less than 300.

The venue change for me has really pointed out how much we enjoy getting together in community. HangCon is about the community more than the event. I wasn't sure if some folks would back out with the venue change, but not one has as far as I know! You all rock!!!

So many choices on where to hang.... Stay in the trees with many choices on where to hang, but a little bit farther from the central area. Sounds like a great place for my "bed".

Or.... Use a hammock stand and get closer to the action and even get out into the open area for a little extra sun. A very doable idea.

And.... I even have the option to bring an RV or camper trailer or even a teardrop trailer. I need to make me a teardrop trailer.

thanks for the updates. Changed my destination for Thursday which is closer to where I'll be. Now just have to figure out my drive home schedule. Hoping to get enough Gator for chili Thursday night in Jacksonville. If not it'll be a mix of Gator and Wild boar.
