Any other Charlotte hangers?

Hey everyone, I am in the Charlotte, NC area and I am switching from ground dwelling to hammocks. I just got my first hammock today, so totally new to this despite lots of research. Messed around with the set up today.

I am excited about my hammock from an excellent cottage vendor - no reason to get a crappy hammock and then have to upgrade later. I do feel like one foot is being compressed a little bit and wondering if hammock is slightly narrow for me or if I don't quite have hang correct. Is there anyone else on here from Charlotte area? Would love to meet and run my hang setup by you, if anyone is willing to put up with a newb.

I’m in the Charlotte area but not available for a bit. I’d recommend checking out the Yates place hang. It’s just east of Charlotte. Great chance to learn a lot and ask questions.

Met with OarBear today, gave him some tips & info and told him about the hangs at Medoc Mtn. and Yates Place....great way to get info for different types of hammocks & set ups.

Thanks for the message! Yes, I greatly appreciated Slugger meeting me yesterday, checking out my setup, and giving me some tips. If time allows, I do want to attend one of the upcoming group hangs on a Saturday.
