Thanks to all who organized, all of the cooking and delicious food, all of the vendors for donating, and all of the attendees' welcoming spirits. We brought our tenter friends on Friday night, who really don’t have much interest in hammock camping, and they were super impressed with the group – the friendliness, the willingness to share information and teach, and the welcoming vibe. Special shout out to the group over in the corner with Amy who always had a warm fire going and Amy always had something delicious to eat. I cannot wait to use my new chameleon and UQ – I still can’t believe I won. I’m going to buy a lottery ticket just in case.
You have that lucky magic. Definitely buy a lottery ticket!

That cup I found wasn’t from your group, was it? It was right where you were set up.

It was great to see you again.
    I sew things on youtube.
I don’t sew on commission, so please don’t ask. Thanks.

I told Dutch about your idea of “mandatory hammock time” and he LOVED it. I sure hope it’ll be implemented. Haha.

Thanks, Shug. I hope your weekend adventures lead you to breathtaking places. ❤️

    Thank you, Jenx!

Your concern is one that has given me some serious food for thought. I'm discovering that the heavier pole I sent with these prototypes is beneficial in some ways and not in others. I have some ideas for a couple design tweaks that would increase the pitch of the roof and potentially allow for the use of the lighter pole without increasing the fiddle factor (which is largely why I went with the heavier pole). It'll be a couple months before I'll be able to test my ideas out but at least i'll have time to think it all through. With the DynaFlys out there now, I'll hopefully get the feedback I need to get everything just right before I make another batch.

Thanks again for the feedback. For the integrity of this thread, please direct any further DynaFly specific feedback to my DIY thread.

It sounds like MAHHA was a grand success and I truly wish that I could have been there to join in the community gathering. Such an amazing collection of vendors represented, too. I'm really bummed that I couldn't buy a few raffle tickets myself. I had my eye on a some possible upgrades...

    Cheers,
    Josh

I had the ESEE 6 in a sheath made by Fallkniven (he is on this forum).

Thanks BuckeyeFan for alerting me to Wildwillott’s post.
