Or use straps and knots (no hardware) the options are limitless with suspensions. A fave of mine is the Marlin Spike hitch, but some knot lovers enjoy the Beckett or J Bend hitch.

Just went with the cinch buckle supplied by warbonnet. I’ll try some others later but it seemed the simplest for me to start with. Thanks y’all!
You will do fine with the Warbonnet cinch buckles. Not a bad idea to put a slippery half hitch on to back up any buckle though. As long as you use quality components there is no one best system out there and the options are numerous.
I've been using those since day one back in 2012. Every time I get a new hammock that I plan on keeping, I buy another set of these. It may sound wasteful when I can just switch them, but I like to larkshead them right thru the hammock and always have them ready to go. No extra rope or parts.
All 4 or 5 I have right now are still going strong. No signs of wear even on the straps. I never, not once, bothered with tying the strap...they don't slip. Actually I had one instance of a slip but I think that was a fluke; the edge of the buckle was too smooth and didn't "bite". Warbonnet said I could return it but I decided to keep trying it and it hasn't failed. I may have threaded the strap incorrectly that first time without realizing it.
I'm getting rid of my whoopies now that I'm using my grizz bridge.
Gonna use my 6' straps connected to something like spider line cause i can't find spider line. Just want to Beckett hitch to a loop at the end of the grizz bridge suspension.
What line can I use instead?
Thanks Shug gonna go with https://dutchwaregear.com/product/sp...lypro-webbing/
All's secure...

I usually camp from a kayak so weight is less of an issue. When I bought my Chameleon, I got dyneema straps with Beetle Buckles and they worked very well. Then I started reading about some areas requiring 2-inch straps so I ordered some polypropylene straps from strapworks and made some soft shackles to connect whoopie slings. The 2-inch straps and whoopies are now my go-to suspension but the Dutch straps go with me and are available in the boat in case the trees are too close for the whoopies. I figure the 2-inch straps are kinder to the trees so I use them whenever I can.

Nah scratch that. 25' Myers tech dyneema for 2 12 footers with a j-bend.
