I posted a few pictures of my hammock hanging on this trip the other day, but here's the full video trip report. What a beautiful spot, and I really appreciated the solitude of the area. Great place to hang!

Another good video Kurt!
Thanks for posting.
Great video Kurt! I’m so glad to see that so much survived the “Big one”.
This was the very first multi day wilderness hike I ever did almost 40 years ago. I was very concerned about the condition of the trail after hiking the Crest Trail a couple years ago. The high forest looked like a bomb had gone off. Nothing but dead wood standing.
I’m more anxious then ever to do this hike again, next Spring for sure... Did you hike to the meadows before you turned back?
Lots of good fishing in that section of the river as well... just saying...

Thanks for watching!
From the trip reports I've read they've done quite a bit of cleanup along the Crest Trail, so it's at least navigable.
Didn't make it to the Meadows due to the all-day rain on Tuesday.
I saw they they do stock Snow Lake with trout, and there is some in the Middle Fork. I am the world's worst fisherman, maybe you can teach me how!

Love the Gila, gotta be one of the most beautiful areas in America. To me anyway. I'll catch the video asap and leave a comment on it. Just a little tiedup right now. I know your videos are amazing so I can't wait.
