    Be Careful everyone

I bought some strap to make tree huggers out of. It looked ok...not. I took a pretty fall today. Strap broke right in the middle. I am going overboard on tree huggers from now on.

You folks be careful out there.

There are two type of hangers, those whose hammocks and or suspension have failed and those that will.

Never hang higher than you are willing to fall.

Straps are something I would order from our makers here on the forum,,they use the best and are great at sewing them,,if you have a sewing machine,,you can order the material off of them..I got a set of straps off Arrowhead that are great,,and another set off whoopieslings.com..both are great straps..and no stretch whatsoever.

Landed on my butt today from about 12". Wasn't the strap though, I was testing lengths on some ripstop before cutting. The waxed twine temporary whip and larkshead slipped off. No damage and no one around to laugh at me.

I feel your pain I had some webbing break on me today. It wouldn't have been so bad but I was showing off my new whoopee slings at work and I hooked them to my webbing and straight down I went.

I'm curious too to what straps you are using. I have made my own. Am still making my own and have purchased pre-made from many a vendor here and thankfully no problems.
