Yup, like AS said it will stretch every time you get a load on it, then when unloaded it will shrink back and be ready to stretch again when you load it up next. Polyester is best IMO as it dose not stretch and is stronger than polypro. I just like it better myself. But YMMV

Many people, myself included, have purchased seat belt webbing for the lack of stretch. Hmmm...where did I purchase it? Paul??
I have used the dynamic load nylon webbing, and have ended up on the ground, gently of course, twice in one night.
