Timberrr and I are looking forward to meeting new friends and seeing some old ones. We are in the middle of a five month trip and will also have our RV with us. See you all in about two weeks!

I think this year may be out for us though. We are excited about our first cruise of any kind, up the Rhine River for 8 days this summer, and in the fall I think we may venture down to GA for our vacation. I did love meeting so many great folks there, and hope we'll be able to do it again in another year perhaps!

Well, the Rhine River cruise was wonderful, but GA won't be happening as we have just put our house on the market and just don't have the energy to put into figuring out vacationing in an unknown area. That bodes well for the L&L hang, as it looks like we may make it after all!
I just signed us up as tentative on the googly sheets. We will be late joiners, but if nothing crazy happens in the next few days, we're going to try to get up there.

Hey Dawn! Glad to know your cruise was good. I hope you make it to the L and L. I would love to hear about the cruise. I have not been on one either. I tend to get seasick even just sitting in a boat that is on a river.

My heart hurts that I won't be there for this event. I'll be in that area the weekend before and can't make the 11 hour trip up twice. Sweet Lobster vibes sent your way. <3

Hiya Tollermama! Guess what? WE'RE COMING, WE'RE COMING!!! Just got the "let's do it" from hubby today!!!

Question for you --- and other experienced L&L peeps...

We will be coming up on Thursday and staying overnight somewhere - do you have any recommendations for food to bring that keeps well, but that people will enjoy? Oh, that is, besides craft beer, which went off really well last time, and I'm sure Ted will bring this time too

Hahaha!! My brother coined that phrase, and I picked up on it because it was cute

I'm SUPER sad you won't be there, but I hope your "other" thing goes well, and I'll be thinking of you while we're up there!
I would really like to do MAHHA, but Sept 20th is hubby's birthday, and since camping is more my thing than his, and because going to MAINE is an extra motivation (and PA does little for him...) I don't think we're going to make it

<hug for you and Lincoln... and heck, Alex too >

Be careful... When my husband and I visited Maine for the first time in 2007.. Ted had a "Sea change".. he said "I NEVER want to go back! (to NJ)" Now we are working through the steps needed to move up there permanently!

There is a Shaws grocery store right in Bath about 5 miles from the camp ground another in Brunswick (Cooks Corner) about 8 miles away, and Walmart at Cooks Corner also.

Thanks Roger that's helpful for us, however I was thinking along the lines of what we can bring from jersey to contribute to Saturday dinner.. Or at least the rest of weekend.. But I think I thought of something..
