    First HH Deep Jungle Hang

    Temp at setup - 50 F
    Low over night - 33 F

Well last night was the first hang for my new HH Deep Jungle. Equipment used was the HH Deep Jungle, whoopie sling suspension, carbon arrow toggles, SB mod for underquilt, reflectix bubble pad, HH Hex fly, alaskan guide down SB.

Slept like a baby, very comfortable. The only problem that I had was condensation on top of the bubble pad. In turn got the bottom of the hammock and SB wet. I ran the tarp over the ridgeline. I think that I will have it under the ridgeline next. The tarp would make noise as it shifted on the ridgeline, kinda annoying.

Cool, thanks for the report, and the pics.
Is the bubble pad include with the HHDJ?

Yes the bubble pad is included in the package. It has eyelets and shockcord that attaches to the tieouts on the HHDJ. Stays in place very well. Still trying to figure out what to do about the condensation problem.

Glad you stayed warm on the first night out. I'm sure others will chime in about the moistue problem. That is a problem with pads that will not let the moisture escape.

    Camping via ATV. Sweet!

You can create more sag in the ridgeline between the prusicks, w/o decreasing the tarp tension, and avoid having the tarp rubbing on the ridgeline if you want.

    Congrats on the first hang.

Yup we enjoy the ATV's, this time however we were just to lazy to hike the 1/4 mile from the house to our "honey hole" on our 40 acres. Kinda have our own camp set up complete with outhouse, planning on building a cabin this summer. Complete with eyehooks to hang from.
