I have previously posted a link to these pics elsewhere on the forum, but my lovely bride made a video composition today that I thought you and others might enjoy.

Unfortunately, the little bit of video included was made with a small, older camera. The new camera will do a better job in the future.

If you are going to combine a little hiking with your canoeing, even short side-trips, I recommend you look into the Border Route Trail:

The BRT will give you a completely different perspective on the BWCA than you will get from a canoe, as it follows ridgelines, so you're looking down on the lakes instead of looking up at the ridges.
