    Best UQ for Clark NA?

After reading all the great reviews on UQ's for other hammocks I am thinking of getting one for my Clark NA. Not sure what would work especially with the pockets. I have been using pads and such inside the hammock but it sounds like the UQ's are more comfortable. If anyone has some recomendations I would appreciate it!

The Incubator underquilt would work well.

What I've found with my Tropical Clark is that with winter hanging and using my thicker heavy winter under quilt, I don't want any air gaps under there so I don't put much of anything in my pockets. My winter under quilt is attached in 5 spots down each side of my hammock and it makes it rather difficult to even try to put anything inside the pockets. (my pockets are spread out anyways and don't do much for insulation) During the summer, when I've got my very light weight summer under quilt on, it's not got all those side attachment points either, I've got it loosly tied on and I'm able to put all sorts of things inside the pockets.

If you get an under quilt and as you start using it, you'll figure out how you like to load up the pockets.

I have two of these UQ's (http://arrowheadequipment.webs.com/a...ts/show/945132) on my NX-200 and they work. I have been out in temps to the mid 20's with them in UQ and TQ mode and have slept plenty warm, with nothing more than a fleece jacket, rain pants, wicking and hiking socks and a fleece belalaclava on my head. Paul has great customer service and very quick turn around time on delivery, he is also a member of the forum and it great to support these guys in what they are doing for us as hangers.

I just ordered a Crowsnest 3/4 underquilt a few days ago for my Clark NX200. My main concerns are compactibilty and warmth. I'm a bicylist and never had enough material to insert in the pockets to keep me warm on cool 45 to 50 degree nights. The quilt is 52 inches long and should cover me from the top of my head to the top of my knees leaving 2 feet of exposed area.

My thoughts are to sleep on the hammock backwards (feet towards the head side) and stuff the two pockets with my gear to keep my feet warm.

This chart from Adam's website is very useful and compares the different quilt makers.

I have used a JRB Shenandoah long underquilt on cool days and that has worked. I plan for that to be my top quilt.

I'll let you know how it works out once I test it.
